Charlie Villagracia discovered his talent and inclination to arts at an early age and was a regular at art competitions and exhibitions in his native Philippines. He considers himself as an expressionist artist who draws influence from his surroundings namely the UAE’s culture, heritage and landscape. Using different media from ballpoint pen to acrylic, he creates unique artworks that reflect the country's rich heritage.
This unique piece is made using ballpoint ink on paper. A very laborious process that takes the artist over 48 hours to produces a single art piece of 20 x 29cms in size.
